Afraid

Take a deep breath. It’s okay to be afraid.

Feeling afraid is a temporary feeling: It doesn’t last forever.

Take another deep breath. You can handle your fear.

Fear tells us when we are in danger and that something is unsafe,

like going into water that is too deep, or climbing a mountain without the right equipment.

Sometimes, though, we think fear is keeping us safe, but it’s keeping us small.

And it can be hard to know the difference.

Our hearts always know what is true.

Fear is a part of life.

It can teach us about ourselves if we are willing to receive it’s lessons.

Remember to listen to your heart.
